Atlanta's Lenox Square Mall is usually thought of as a place to find a Kate Spade handbag or Louis Vuitton luggage, but on September 24, competitive eaters were shopping for victory at the 2006 Krystal Square Off World Hamburger Eating Championship Qualifier.
In one of the closest battles in Krystal history, Chip Simpson edged out Tim Janus 53 to 52.5. Janus obviously leads the wildcard race and has a very secure spot in the finals on October 28.
Justin Mih had an impressive day with 33, and Bubba Yarbrough ate 26.
