Sonya Thomas added yet another record to her bib sheet after eating 6.75 pounds of fried catfish at the World Catfish Eating Championship from Rhythm City Casino in Davenport, IA.
Thomas edged out Eater X by a few catfish filets. In 3rd was Gravy Brown with 5 lbs and rounding out the money was Baton Rouge-based rookie upstart Adrian "the Ragin' Cajun" Morgan with 4.25 lbs.
Morgan narrowly beat out a logjam of eaters who all consumed 4 lbs including Nate Biller, Crazy Legs and Jammin' Joe LaRue.
LaRue & CrazY Legs will square off next month at the National Sweet Corn Eating Championship.
