Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest - Atlantic City, NJ
Location: Atlantic City, NJ
Winner: Bob Shoudt, Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs
Total Prizes: Seat, Coney Island, July 4th
Bob "Notorious B.O.B." Shoudt is no longer available to attend your Fourth of July bar-b-que this year after winning the Nathan's Famous qualifier at Trump Beach Bar on Saturday, May 29. The #2-ranked Shoudt ate 40 Nathan's hot dogs and buns (HDBs) in 10 minutes in front of the Memorial Day weekend crowd to win in a landslide. What makes the feat even more impressive was the field contained a host of ranked Major League Eaters.
In 2nd place with 25 Nathan's HDBs was #16-ranked Buffalo Jim Reeves, followed closely by #17-ranked Pat "from Moonachie" Philbin w/24.5. Long Island's Shredder Goldstein ate 23 to finish in fourth place.
