Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas will look to make it four straight years of sweeping the competition at the National Buffalo Wing Festival. "Wing King" Drew Cerza's annual buffalo wing celebration will take place over Labor Day weekend and Major League Eating will be there to headline the festivities.
On Saturday, Sept. 4, top-ranked Major League Eaters will step up to the table to see who can finish the Buffalo Buffet Bowl the fastest. The Buffet Bowls will consist of various buffalo cuisine such as chicken wings, pizza, roast beef and sausages. A total cash purse of $1,750 will be on the line with the winner taking home $1,000, second place receiving $500 and third place walking away with $250.
Rumors that Badlands Booker will hold his first-ever concert on Saturday evening at the festival. More details will be provided once this news is confirmed.
The National Buffalo Wing Festival will take place on Labor Day Weekend (Sept 4-5) at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, NY. Part of the proceeds for the festival go to benefit Western New York charities, raising more than $125,000 over the festival's history.
