Feast of San Gennaro World Cannoli Eating Championship

Location: New York, NY
Date: 09-16-2010
Winner: Dave "US Male" Goldstein

This year will mark the 84th Annual Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy. More than a million people attend this festival every year, which runs for 11 days starting on September 16th.

As part of the opening day's festivities, Major League Eating will once again be sanctioning the World Cannoli Eating Championships. In last year's event, veteran Major League Eater and East Village resident Crazy Legs Conti ate 20.5 cannolis in 6 minutes to win the coveted title. Cookie Jarvis shares with Conti's roommate Eater X the world record of 26 cannoli set in 2005 and 2006, respectively.

This contest will take place at 2pm from the stage on the northwest corner of Grand and Mott streets.
