JOEY "JAWS" CHESTNUT REPEATS AT THE TACO BELL WHY PAY MORE! SOFT TACO CHALLENGE IN PUERTO RICO!

Two men entered, but only one could walk out with his self-worth in tact after 10 minutes of furious eating. Joey "Jaws" Chestnut once again proved that he is the greatest eater who has ever lived, by downing 52 Taco Bell soft tacos in 10 minutes—only one taco short of his world record of 53. Tim "Comelon Equis" Janus finished in second, with a personal best in the taco discipline of 43. Both athletes were confident of posting bigger numbers headed into the event—taking to Twitter of all places to brag about their forecasts—but were stymied by the substantial tortilla that makes the Taco Bell soft taco the formidably filling food that it is.

Results: Joey Chestnut, 52 Tim "Eater X" Janus, 43

Prior to this professional MLE head-to-head death match, a series of local rounds was held to determine Puerto Rico's comelon mas fuerte. The winner was a gentlemen named Dragon Lee, who put away 10 Taco Bell soft tacos in the record time of two minutes, 43 seconds.

Taco Bell pledged to donate $100 for every taco eaten by the winner to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico, but went one better. Actually, $3,800 better, delivering a $9,000 check to this most worthy organization
