Major League Eating makes a triumphant return to the West Virginia Three Rivers Festival on Saturday, May 25th with the 3rd Annual West Virginia Three Rivers Festival Pepperoni Roll Eating World Championship!
Last year, Patrick "Deep Dish" Bertoletti impressed festival guests (and, frankly, himself) last year after consuming 33 pepperoni rolls to establish a new world record, breaking the mark he set in 2011. Can he do it again?
Or will it be second-place finisher from 2012 Tim "Eater X" Janus, or number three, Adrian "The Rabbit" Morgan? Or Sonya or BOB, both of whom tied for fourth with 22? Regardless, one thing we know is true: This event will see a large turnout of the best eaters our great organization counts among its number. They will vie for one of the richest purses on the MLE calendar—$6,500—and the honor of being named the West Virginia Three Rivers Festival Pepperoni Roll Eating World Champion of the World.
Bertoletti remains undefeated at this event. Who dares to dethrone the king? Is it you? Come one, come all—see, compete and be a part of history!
This contest will take place at 6pm on Saturday May 25th, 2013 at Palatine Park in Downtown Fairmont, WV!
