It's back! The Hooters World Wing-Eating Championship pits the greatest eaters in the world against the delicious, world-famous wings of Hooters!
This year's Hooters World Wing-Eating Championship circuit will kick off in Panama City Beach, FL—home to America's most-rocking Spring Break celebration—on Saturday March 30, 2013. (Psst—that's very soon.) This year, not only will the winner of each qualifying Hooters World Wing-Eating Championship event earn the right to compete at this year's Grand Finale, so too will the second and third-place finishers.
Yes, you read that right: First, second and third all win a trip to compete in the Hooters World Wing-Eating Championship, plus $500, $300 and $200 respectively.
The Hooters World Wing-Eating Championship will be held in July in Clearwater, FL—home of the Original Hooters and the site of last year's epic final battle that saw Joey "Jaws" Chestnut edge out Adrian "The Rabbit" Morgan for victory. This year, contestants at the Championship will be competing for a prize purse of $12,500! For eating Hooters wings!
