The 2005 Krystal Square Off World Hamburger Eating Championship circuit continued in Nashville, TN, on Sunday, September 11, at the Tennessee State Fair.
Fresh off his victory over a talented field including Sonya Thomas at the National Buffalo Wing Festival, Eric ‘Badlands’ Booker continued his hot streak by eating 44 Krystals. Booker earns a spot in the Nov. 19 Krystal World Hamburger Eating Championship in Chattanooga, TN, where $22,500 will be on the line.
“Booker devoured the Krystals with the tenacity of Ray Lewis and the grace of Baryshnikov,” said Richard Shea, president of the IFOCE.
Upstart gurgitator Pat Bertoletti took second place with an impressive 28 Krystals, while Donkey Kong Zakerski finished third with 24.
