The 2005 Krystal Square Off World Hamburger Eating Championship circuit continued in Jacksonville, FL, on Sunday, November 6 at the Greater Jacksonville Fair.
Crazy Legs Conti, nearing the end of what one fan recently dubbed a “less than career year” on the IFOCE circuit, delivered a career performance in the penultimate Krystal qualifier.
Conti downed 31 Krystals in the eight minute contest, just edging out Hall Hunt who consumed 30. In third place was Brian Miller with 24 Krystals.
The winner of each regional qualifier will earn one of the coveted seats at the world championship final table on Nov. 19, 2005, in Chattanooga, Tenn., where they will compete for a share of the $22,500 cash purse.
