Jose's in La Jolla to host World Flauta Eating Championship Dec 6th

Major League Eating will crown the first Flauta-Eating Champion at Jose's in La Jolla, CA. The San Diego beach town will hold the contest on December 6th and a total cash purse of $4,500 will be up for grabs. The flautas, which are rolled and lightly fried soft flour tortillas, will be filled with ground chicken for the 8-minute sanctioned contest.

Registration for this event will open on IFOCE.com at 2:00pm EST on Monday, October 26.
