Cherrystone Eating Championship back at Peter's Clam Bar

Major League Eating will return to Peter's Clam Bar in Island Park, NY on Memorial Day, May 31, for the 2nd Annual World Cherrystone Clam Eating Championship. $2,500 in cash prizes will be up-for-grabs. In last years inaugural event, Juliet Lee ate 23 dozen clams in the 6-minute contest to claim the title and world record.

Talks of an amateur undercard event featuring Peter's Crab Cakes are also in the works.

Registration for this contest will open Tuesday, May 4th on IFOCE.com at 11:00am EST.
