Kassandra Zapata

Donna is a city in Hidalgo County, Texas, United States. The city's population was 15,798 at the 2010 census and only one of that number has represented Donna as proudly as Kassandra Zapata, the first Donnarian to ever grace the Nathan's Famous stage at Coney Island on the Fourth of July. There should be a monument erected in her honor, perhaps next to the one of TJ Hooks, the city's founder. Ms Zapata ate 11 Nathan's Famous hot dogs and buns at the San Antonio, TX, qualifier in 2016. She was spurred on by a large and loving crowd of family and well-wishers in her effort. She left the arena with the trophy, the ticket to Coney and the respect of her rivals. The residents of Donna, TX, are lucky to count Kassandra Zapata as one of their own.
